GoldMund

Biography

Anna Veit & 6 Münchner Philharmoniker

GoldMund is made up of the trumpeters Florian Klingler and Bernhard Peschl, Ulrich Haider (horn), Quirin Willert (trombone), Ricardo Carvalhoso (tuba) and, last but not least, Sebastian Förschl (percussion).

They all play with the Munich Philharmonic with some of the most famous conductors, and naturally also with world-famous soloists, not only in Munich but in some of the most renowned concert halls around the world. But above all, they all really love to play. And they do so within their ensemble GoldMund. Together with Anna Veit, who is an incredibly flexible singer and at home in all genres. She can sing every cliché and non-cliché, she can paint sounds, shape words and mould her voice to suit the moment.

Anna Veit grew up in Kramersdorf/Lower Bavaria and had her first formative musical experiences on the church organ and on the dance floor. She studied in Munich and Vienna and competed in Berlin, Klagenfurt and New York City. After several theatre and musical engagements in all kinds of cities, she decided to concentrate on one of her 100 or so great loves – chanson. She sings, plays and writes; performs as a duo with pianist Michael Gumpinger, playing double bass and singing within the jazz band DieDreiDamen or in the septet GoldMund.
