Sunwook Kim and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe perform in the UK as part of Tour in Europe and South Korea

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe (COE) and Sunwook Kim are embarking on an extensive tour of Europe and South Korea in March and April 2025. The two concerts in the UK (in Saffron Waldon and in London) mark the Orchestra’s return to the UK stage after more than seven years (they last performed at the Proms in 2017).

As the winner of the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition in 2006, ever since Sunwook Kim is no stranger to UK audiences. Known for his technical brilliance and profound interpretations, he will direct the COE from the piano in three of Beethoven’s most celebrated piano concertos on 11th and 12th April 2025, offering a rare and captivating experience. It’s their second collaboration.

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe, regarded as one of the finest chamber orchestras in the world, has been inspiring audiences with its unmistakable sound and high-calibre partnerships for over 40 years.

The European Tour is made possible by the generous support of Hyundai Motor.
