The Tchalik Quartet on Arte !
Last January the Quatuor Tchalik went to Leipzig, to record a few extracts from Arnold Schönberg’s chamber music, in the very famous Gewandhaus Leipzig. This recording, with Accentus Music is part of a very beautiful documentary that celebrates Schönberg’s 150th birth anniversary. Currently online on Arte, the movie traces the composer’s exceptional life. You can catch the four siblings throughout the film, performing extracts from Presto in C Major, Die Eiserne Brigade, Quartet No. 2 op.10, Quartet No. 4 op.37, and the Ode to Napoleon op.41.
