Schimmer PR has been providing PR and media work for artists, orchestras and institutions in the classical music field since 2008. The team has both the necessary experience in the music and media worlds and the eye and ear for the individual qualities of an artist to profile the clients nationally and internationally and to ensure them a decisive media presence.
The work ranges from PR projects like jubilees or concert tours and general PR (including homepage support) to sustained consultancy towards sharpening an artist’s market profile. Drawing upon a carefully built up network, which includes agencies for graphic and web design and a pool of top photographers and writers, Schimmer PR is able to offer the clients tailored strategies and secure them targeted placements.
Among the clients are the conductors Markus Stenz and Roland Kluttig, the cellist Alban Gerhardt, the violinist Antje Weithaas, the pianist Louis Lortie, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the education project of the WDR music education programme.
